As previously reported by IIB, the Brave browser has experienced exponential user adoption with monthly active users surging by 450% since 2018.
Backing this statistic up is data compiled by GoogleTrends showing the level of interest in Brave from May 2018 to May 2019. As seen in the graph above, the level of interest in Brave is in an upwards trajectory and could potentially be in the midst of an exponential growth trend.
The browser experienced a spike in interest in early February 2019 and again in April, making it the most popular web browser in comparison to Opera and Firefox.
As the browser gains user interest, it appears that the level of interest continues to be compounded in a positive feedback loop. This is very positive for Brave because it signifies that Brave users like the browser and are telling their friends, families, and co-workers about it.
At this rate, it may only be a matter of time until Brave begins competing with Google Chrome for popularity and user interest.
