During the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2019 on June 5, technology giant Apple revealed that its iOS 13 software release will include a cryptographic developer tool dubbed “CryptoKit.”

The CryptoKit revealed in the keynote above is focused primarily on developers, as it enables them to build in more security functionality for apps with better support.
As stated on Apple’s developer website:
“CryptoKit is a new Swift framework that makes it easier and safer than ever to perform cryptographic operations, whether you simply need to compute a hash or are implementing a more advanced authentication protocol.”
As for other Apple developments regarding crypto, last month the cryptocurrency wallet Spend app integrated Apple Pay functionality, allowing users to fund the app with 20 different cryptos and convert them to fiat so they can spend them via Apple Pay.
Will Apple come out with their own cryptocurrency wallet soon? Let us know what you think in the comment section below.
