On June 3, it was announced that Tron founder Justin Sun would be lunching with billionaire investor and entrepreneur Warren Buffett after the former had a bid a staggering $4.5 million as a part of Buffett’s Charity Lunch event.
Sun then posted an open letter where he said that he would bring fellow crypto insiders, possibly in a bid to convince Buffett, who is a well-known Bitcoin (BTC) skeptic, of the legitimacy of digital assets. This included Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, who had to turn the down offer, recommending Anthony Pompliano instead,
.@justinsuntron kindly invited me to go, but I can't make it. Too far. I guess that's like turning down $1,000,000, assuming 5 guys going, lol… But very much appreciated.
I would totally recommend inviting @APompliano.

Zhao also thanked Sun for a “very smart move” on his part, as the lunch with Buffett is sure to get some attention from those both in the crypto and traditional financial industries. Sun is well known for his attention-grabbing marketing moves, which has attracted both praise and skepticism.
Such news usually results in a boost in TRON’s prices, though that has not formed so far, with the entire crypto market seeing red.
