The Basic Attention Token (BAT) project has made an update to its Github page, which hints at the Brave Ads full launch arriving closer. The Github update brings a Brave Ads notification to the Linux operating system.
Saying that “Brave Ads has arrived!”, the update should send Brave and BAT enthusiasts into speculation as to whether a general release launch is imminent.
Brave Ads has been in testing for sometime now, and rumors have been floating that the general release of the program is expected to arrive towards the end of April, though no official announcement has been made about the date of the release.
The trial program for Brave Ads began in June 2018, allowing 70% of the total revenue generated to go to the viewers. Brave founder, Brendan Eich, has said that it is possible for participants to earn as much 70$ in 2019, and as much as $224 in 2020.
Brave Doing Phenomenally Well
The Brave project has been growing and developing well, as evinced by the the 20 million+ downloads on the Android platform and the 450%+ increase in browser usage since 2018.
The project has also added several new publishers to its verified publishers list, including well-known publication LA Times.
