Coinbase has launched a new visa debit card, called Coinbase Card, that lets users spend their cryptocurrencies in millions of locations across the world. The Coinbase Card app is available on both the Google Play store and the iOS App store.
Several debit cards for cryptocurrencies have already been launched and with Coinbase entering the game, they are likely attempting to expand their reach as they attempt to compete with popular exchanges like Binance.
Coinbase has been slowly introducing new features to its platform as the crypto market has been growing. In addition to listing several more tokens, CEO Brian Armstrong has alluded to the fact that the exchange may introduce machine learning based price alerts to its users. It has also been focused on its custody services, competing with Fidelity Digital Assets for the acquisition of crypto wallet provider Xapo.
