Privacy-oriented internet search engine, DuckDuckGo recently promoted the popular crypto-backed Brave browser to their 0.9 million followers on Twitter.
In DuckDuckGo’s tweet, they highlighted Brave’s privacy preserving nature and recommended people use Brave over the Chrome browser.
Not only did DuckDuckGo recommend the Brave browser for preserving privacy, but they also shared an article published by Fast Company about taking back your online privacy.
Per the article, the first step to taking back your online privacy is to use a privacy-oriented web browser like Brave. The piece goes on to outline that Google Chrome is generally people’s browser of choice due to its fast and pleasing experience but quickly notes that Chrome collects a ton of data about how you browse the web.
They then recommend their viewers to use Brave instead of Chrome, stating that it operates just like Chrome with the same speed and excellent user experience but also offers privacy at the same time.

“If you like Chrome, you’ll love Brave. That’s because Brave looks and works exactly like Chrome and is compatible with every Chrome theme and extension and since Brave is built with privacy in mind, it offers features Google would never allow in Chrome.”
