A former Goldman Sachs executive, Breanne Madigan, who previously worked for Blockchain.com, has moved to Ripple, sources close to the The Block said.
Blockchain.com’s communication lead Patrick Sutton confirmed to the publication that Madigan had left. The former Goldman Sach executive was the head of institutional sales and strategy, with her responsibility primarily being attracting institutional investment.
Her new position at Ripple will see her taking on similar responsibilities. Speaking to The Block, she said,
I am thrilled to confirm that I have joined Ripple to lead the Global Institutional Markets team. This is an exciting time to be joining the Ripple team, helping to foster mass adoption of digital assets and transforming global payments systems across the world.
Ripple has been doing well, even before the recent bull run. Since the start of the year, Ripple and its technology has steadily been persuading established financial institutions of its effectiveness in cross-border payments.
