Following the Binance hack which saw 7000 Bitcoin (BTC), or roughly $42 million, stolen in a single transaction, crypto evangelist and enfant terrible John McAfee has told Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao that he would be willing to help the team out with his expertise in cybersecurity – and CZ has accepted.
.@cz_binance – if I can help at all please let me know. Underneath my clown suit is still one of the most experienced cybersecurity experts on the planet. I've been doing it for 51 years. I am at your service.

CZ responded, gladly accepting the proposal,
🤝🤝🤝 Would love to pick your brain about it. Will DM you and arrange a time.

Users have been appreciative of the good will being passed around in the crypto market – which is known for its tribalistic nature – and have joked about the conversation,
@cz_binance, @justinsuntron, and @officialmcafee….
It's like the fucking Avengers over here!!!

Though the market has broken past the $6000 mark, the Binance hack has worried the community a little, though Binance has been forthright and transparent about the situation. Last year, an identical hack took place, and Binance lost the same amount – 7000 btc.
John McAfee is ever a news-forming voice in the space, having recently told the public that he is aware of who Satoshi Nakamoto is, but would refrain from revealing his identity for fear of his extradition.
