Qtum Partners with Amazon Web Services in China, Makes Qtum Technology More Accessible to Enterprises

Qtum, the public blockchain project designed to help enterprise businesses implement and utilize blockchain technology, has announced a partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in China. This partnership, which was revealed to CoinDesk,  will make Qtum’s smart contract and dapp development platform available on Amazon Web Services.

Users from around the world will now be able to develop and deploy smart contracts and dapps from the quick, efficient, and cost effective Amazon Machine Image (AMI) that features Qtum core, and the Qmix Integrated Development Environment (IDE). This would improve Qtum’s effectiveness as a provider of Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) solutions for enterprise businesses and developers.

According to Qtum’s marketing director, John Scianna, Qtum and AWS have been discussing a full-scale technical partnership since April.

How Will This Partnership Impact Qtum?

The partnership between Qtum and AWS will greatly help Qtum’s smart contract and dapp technology become more accessible to enterprises.

Qtum and AWS will work together by getting feedback from their users and discover the most in0-demand use cases for smart contract and dapp technology. Additionally according to Qtum’s chief information officer, Mike Palencia, both Qtum and AWS will provide guidance and software development resources to clients using their services.

Qtum is one of the most decentralized entities on the internet and AWS is one of the largest cloud providers in the world. It is a perfect combination for users and the enterprise. We look forward to continue making Qtum’s smart contract and dapp technology available for what is arguably its most in-demand market, the enterprise.

Patrick Dai, Qtum co-founder

Qtum is continuously refining their Proof-of-Stake platform by pushing forward and testing their product. The Amazon Web Services partnership is just one example of how dedicated and serious the Qtum project is about solving complex issues of scalability and deliverability for their projects.

Now, with Qtum’s AMI on AWS, even more clients will be able to more easily develop on top of the Qtum smart contract and dapp development platform.

With the announcement of this Amazon Web Services partnership, we can expect to see an influx of new decentralized applications being deployed on the Qtum blockchain as it will now be easier than ever for developers to create and deploy dapps on Qtum.

Qtum has already deployed more than 50 decentralized applications across a wide range of sectors, including but not limited to clean energy, healthcare, intellectual property, internet of things, market forecast, and more.

With Qtum’s AMI on top of AWS, developers have a range of sophisticated features to make development of smart contracts and dapps easier than ever.

Developers have access to development libraries and tools that allow anyone to build smart contracts. They can also work on the QT desktop wallet and have access to the Qtum and Solidity compiler with the official repository for easy updates.

The new AWS partnership with Qtum allows all this and more, to better serve developers of smart contracts and decentralized applications.
