TRON (TRX), once a highly over-hyped cryptocurrency project and now a powerful protocol, blockchain platform, and cryptocurrency with high transaction throughput and substantial development, has revealed their accomplishments and encouraged attendees at the niTROn Summit 2019.
The event featured various speakers, including TRON’s founder and CEO Justin Sun, head of the TRON public chain Marcus Zhao, head of the developer community of TRON, Li Cong, and more. All of these individuals had a lot to say about Tron, the community, and development.
TRX Community Involvement and Dapp Development
Zhao, head of the TRON public chain, spoke about TRON’s latest developments and future plans of the cryptocurrency’s network as well as the importance of the TRON community and their feedback.
Engaging the audience, Zhao said:
“[Tron] will listen to the community to achieve the decentralization of developing a team and attract more developers to join us.”
Moreover, Cong, the head of the developer community of TRON, spoke about the continued growth of developers coming to work on the TRON blockchain and how they have helped get developers started with blockchain.
As well, Cong passionately stated that TRON is not just a protocol but also a platform and ecosystem with 145 dapps and more than 3,000 developers, adding that it will soon surpass EOS in all regards.
TRON has 145 DApps, and it’s only the 3rd month since TRON started developing DApps. We believe that TRON will grow even more rapidly in 2019.

There Will Be More Than 2000 Dapps in 2019
While both Zhao and Cong had interesting things to say, Sun, Tron’s CEO, stated that there will be more than 2,000 dapps in the market this year and urged developers in the audience to build on TRON’s blockchain. He stated that TRON’s network is open to developers and they are striving to create a better ecosystem for dapp developers.
Sun made it clear that he does not care where these developers come from, whether it be EOS or Ethereum, he just wants developers to build on TRON. Earlier this year when Ethereum’s hard fork coordinator cautioned developers against deploying dapps on the Ethereum network, Sun urged them to build and deploy on TRON.
Moreover, as Sun usually does, he took his excitement over to Twitter, where he expressed TRON’s development and growth to his followers:
TRON #DApps has increased by 25 compared with last week. DApps total number is 142 and the weekly growth is 20%. Total number of accounts on #TRON registered 1.42 million and daily transaction reached around 3 million, maintaining a rapid growth. #TRX $TRX https://t.co/OTYvjax6wa
